Enjoy relaxing in the living area or cook a meal in the well equipped kitchen. Off the living area is a full bath and a bedroom with king bed and TV/DVD. Head downstairs to the newly remodeled lower level with a spacious living area with flat screen television and surround sound; a bedroom with queen size bed and TV; and a full bath. While the floor above the entry level of the townhouse offers a third full bath and a bedroom with a queen bed, air conditioning and TV/DVD.
Alpine Village is located close to downtown North Woodstock. North Woodstock offers great dining opportunities including local favorites like the Woodstock Station & Brewery, Truant's Tavern and the Cascade Coffee House. Locally you will find plenty of seasonal and year-round activities to fill your time including shopping, golfing, mini-golfing, amusement parks (including a local waterpark), gondola / tram rides, natural attractions, alpine skiing and snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, river swimming (Cascade Park is just a walk away), kayaking, bird watching and much more.

This home does not offer pool or fitness center membership. However, drop-in memberships are available at either the Nordic Inn Club or the Mountain Club on Loon for a separate fee.

This home has two air conditioners: one in the dining area, and one in the upstairs queen bedroom.

That said, I highly recommend Loon and this unit #84 in particular. The location is exceptional for exploring the area. You can also walk into town for a few restaurants and drive a short 10 minutes to Lincoln for lots more choices.
Unlike some properties that are intended primarily for rental, this one seems like the owner's home. There's a lifetime's collection of memorabilia in there which makes it feel cozy, but cluttered. If that's your style, you'll like this.
This property is air conditioned, which can be important if you're staying during a heat wave. As is probably typical of properties of this age, it is not central air. There is a window unit on the main floor and that area was pretty comfortable. However, the upstairs bedroom stayed pretty warm and the basement stayed very cold. This may have been our error, but we never found a way to get all three levels comfortable.
One caution, especially if you are bringing small children. Water temperature in the showers is really sensitive to water use elsewhere in the house. Turning on a faucet or flushing a toilet anywhere in the house makes the shower water instantly scalding hot.
Somewhat different than previous stays on the mountain itself
But was just perfect for this visit
