Deposit and Cancellation Policies
Deposits of 50% are due within 7 days of booking. Checks are preferred, but we do accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. The balance of your stay must be paid by 30 days prior to arrival or at time of booking, if you book less than 30 days prior to arrival.
Vacation Rental Insurance is offered at time of booking, to protect you in case you need to cancel.
Cancellations must be made in writing and received at least 30 days prior to arrival. In that case, you would receive your return of deposit less a $35 administrative fee.
Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to arrival will forfeit the entire rent and fees paid and/or due, unless covered by the Vacation Rental Insurance offered at time of booking. (No refunds are made in cash.)
If the Vacation Rental Insurance was accepted, you would file your claim with the insurance company. This means that refunds would be available for an insurable reason, like a broken leg, death in the family, or some other major medical event. It does not cover changing your mind, your dates or the unit. Remember, each home is individually owned and we have held your space for those dates.
Of course, if no insurance was accepted, no refund would be available. So do please think twice before declining it.
